Community Relations
Product Donations

As part of its Community Relations program, the WD Foundation will consider donations of Western Digital products to non-profit organizations in the areas where we operate business units.  These donations may include refurbished hard drives for schools or non-profit organizations, or new products for fundraising purposes such as raffles or auctions.

If a non profit organization wishes to request a product donation, the following is required for consideration.

A formal request on the organization’s letterhead which includes:

    1. A description of the organization, its name, address, telephone number, and the name and e-mail of a contact person.
    2. The date by which the item must be received.  (Please allow 3-4 weeks notice.)
    3. The organization’s tax ID number for non-profit status.
    4. A specific request for the product desired and the purpose (i.e.: a WD Passport for an auction item, etc.)
    5. The name of the employee affiliated with the organization, if applicable.  (i.e.: For a school raffle donation, the name of the parent who is a WD employee.)

The letter should be submitted to the Foundation representative for the local region:
